Pilot Guide
As most of your mainstream airlines emulate their real world counterparts, VQA is interested in providing a brand name carrier to the VA community that isn't over burdened with a lot of heavy structure, training, VATSIM requirement or restriction to aircraft your permitted fly. In other words we want you to enjoy your flightsim.
Secondly there are many of us who do not have the time to be involved in a VA that keeps tabs on your activity or dictating as to how often you must fly to remain on the roster. We here at VQA are flexible as to your activity and the fore you do not need to concern yourself with being bumped. If you get bored and are moving on let us know.
Presently we use the SOFTS tracking system which permits you to create your own routes from your assigned hub in lieu of fixed schedules and from my personal experience I often find routes I'm not interested in flying. Particularly if they have been assigned, or your forced to bid on whatever is available.
Please note, before you setup your flight check if your destination airport is on file. You do this by going into our routes page and view schedules. If it is not there, forward a list of airport ICAO codes you want added to the database. Just need the 4 digit code, it will be there for your next flight.
Please view the following videos and tutorials and if you choose too, come and join us

SOFTS and Flight Tracking
Just like real world airlines, SOFTS uses flight following procedures to track aircraft. You must ALWAYS start your flight from the the airport the aircraft is currently parked at.
Please check the aircraft locations before stating any flight. Most aircraft can be used by all our members, so the aircraft you last flew may not be at the airport you left it at.
